David Browne was a first time Candidate for Fine Gael for Navan Town
Council, in 2009.
Born and raised in North County Dublin he has been living in Navan for
the past 13 years, firstly in Balreask Village and now in Clogherboy.
David was born with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy which he doesn’t allow
stand in his way of achieving his goals and aspirations.
David is a firm believer of his political stand points and this is
proven by the fact that his family haven’t been involved in politics and
he is not simply carrying on any ‘political dynasty’.
David is a member of Fine Gael since 1999. He has worked for Fine Gael
at urban, district and constituency level.
David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computing which he attained
in Blanchardstown Institute of Technology. He is a keen sports fan
following GAA, soccer and snooker.
David Browne’s Priorities for Navan Include:
· The development of Navan as a place to live and work in
· Retention of services at Our Lady’s Hospital
· Development of youth facilities for our young residents
· Fostering community spirit and reducing Anti-Social
Behaviour
· Ensuring the rights of Local Authority Housing tenants
· Improving the footpaths and lighting for pedestrians
